New Delhi, June 23 -- An obscure picture of actress Manisha Koirala, smoking on her wedding day, is attracting loads of unwarranted attention online.
"Is she smoking on her wedding night? I can't stand her," posts a user anonymously on a website where the picture was posted. "She is a chain smoker... I feel sorry for the guy who married her," says another user.
The actress' fans, meanwhile, jumped to her defense against her critics. "She is doing it at her place, not in public. It's her life," posts fashionista, a user. Another adds, "Smoking is terrible for health but I don't see people complaining about SRK's (Shah Rukh Khan) chain smoking or Salman's (Salman Khan) drinking. Manisha's just having a cig to unwind at the end of what was probably a very stressful day, especially with the media everywhere," says another fan of the actress. (bollywood.com)
