September's Style Inspiration
Leighton Meester

This month I have decided to hand the style inspiration title to the lovely Leighton Meester. During September she has shown up in one great outfit after the other, and she has played around with the latest trends and given them her own little twists. For instance, she has worn everything from the LBD to the leather skirt to the colourful dresses this month, and in my opinion she has pulled it all off (some better than others of course!)

I love Leighton's charm and "girl-next-door" looks, and she seems so sweet and down-to-earth. Everything a great winner needs + the fabulous style of course. What's your favourite Leighton outfit this month? I tried to choose one, but I found it impossible because I love so many of them!

First Singapore Night Grand Prix 2008

Formula One Racing held its 800th race on Sunday in Singapore, with the Singapore Grand Prix - also the first Formula One race held at night. Organizers built, then lined a 5 kilometer track with over 1,600 lamps, said to be four times brighter than those used at football stadiums. Twenty drivers drove 61 laps for a total of 309 kilometers at speeds sometimes approaching 300 kilometers per hour - in a country that once banned the sport, in part for promoting reckless driving. Driver Fernando Alonso of Renault won the race with a time of 1:57:16.304.
