New Storage Arrangement

As you know from my previous storage system, I only had one pull out storage drawer. In total it contained 84 nail polishes and everything else I've been storing up in shoe boxes and large packaging box I got from ordering from Nordstrom. Today I was nearby Target and for the first time there, I found a FABULOUS new white drawer for $7 and it's bigger than my original black one. The original black one is the first picture below.

After reorganizing and transferring my OPI's and China Glaze's from the black storage drawer to my brand new white drawer, I filled it with, in order from bottom to top, Chanel, MAC, Revlon Street Wear, Illamasqua, Deborah Lippmann, RBL, Lancome, Nubar, Nfu Oh, Anna Sui, Catrice, Sephora by OPI, Essence, Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure, Essie, Barielle, Color Club, Pop Nail Glam, Zoya, Misa, American Apparel, Studio M, NOX Twilight and (finally!) Top Shop which is pictured below.

Measurements of storage to show how much bigger it is [depth x width x height ]:
The black storage is 30cm x 44cm x 18cm
The white storage is 43.2cm x 36.5cm x 17.5cm

So after filling up my new white drawer storage with OPI and China Glaze, I was able to fill up 104 bottles! Amazing!! For the price of $7 too :) I was planning to get another one but I already had a bag of a pair of rainboots so I wouldn't have enough hands & arms to carry 2 drawer storages. :P Maybe next time, if I expand even bigger.

Below is the picture of the new storage for my China Glaze and OPI (however there were a few left out because they couldn't fit). Now, I'm using 2 storage drawers, 1 large packaging box and a smaller packaging box (which contains nail art bottles and frankens).

Sorry, I didn't get a picture of the drawer itself and I tried looking on Target's website, no luck. :( but it's very similar to the black one except there's a square-ish oval pull out in the middle of the storage to pull out unlike the black one which has a handle at the top of the storage part.

Hope you enjoyed another Fantastic Finds and happy polishing! (:

Update

Sorry I haven't updated as much as I'd like to :( Sadly, finals are coming up within this week & next week, so I'll only be able to schedule some posts throughout this time. Hope you all understand!

Here's some nail mail that I recently received,

Deniz from Emerald Sparkled sent me TWELVE China Glazes from their Tis The Season Collection! Can you believe it?! I couldn't believe my eyes. Thank you so much for such a great opportunity and I'm definitely going to use them well this season! =)

(L-R) Cheers to You, Jolly Holly, Little Drummer Boy, Midnight Kisses, Mistletoe Kisses, Mrs. Claus

 (L-R) Naughty and Nice, Party Hearty, Peace on Earth, Phat Santa, Ruby Deer, Sugarplums

The next nail mail I got is from a MUA swap with Alexis! China Glaze Rapture and Crystal Ball and she even threw in an extra, Joe Fresh Jade! I was so surprised and super excited because Jade is now my first Joe Fresh polish and I can't wait to try it out! <3 Thanks so much Alexis!

So first on the China Glaze Tis the Season is Cheers to You. Cheers to You is a silver foil. It's super bright and shimmery XD! The picture shows 2 coats of CTY and 1 coat of top coat. The application was soo smooth and easy! I could've gotten away with 1 coat of CTY but I decided to swatch with 2.

hope you enjoyed & happy polishing! :)

My Secret Stash ;P

So I got home late today because my class ended pretty late. Yesterday, I decided to organize my nail polish stash, except I only did my OPI and China Glaze army. Check the following pictures out! :) This is my only pull out drawer that I have and I filled it with nail polish. For my other polishes, I'm using shoe boxes as well as a large brown packaging box that I got from Nordstrom (inside they only put 1 MAC nail polish & TONS of paper -____-). I'm planning on getting more pull out drawers like this because it's easy & stackable, so it'd be like my own helmer! However, I'm still broke right now so yup... anyways here are the pictures

My OPI army; total count of 57 bottles so far.

My China Glaze army; total count of 38 so far.

My Nail Polish Pull Out Drawer Army total count of 95 polishes so far.
(not shown: 4 extra China Glazes that couldn't fit. So they are temporarily lying flat over the first few rows of OPI until I find another "living shelter" for them, hehe)

Hopefully sometime soon, I can provide more pictures of my other stashes. :P My parents get so surprised whenever they see me reorganizing, or when my mom is picking a color for me to do her toes with, LOL.

As regarding my upcoming giveaway, I have decided to hold a giveaway when I reach 300 public followers. So far, I have Revlon Perplex and maybe another polish which isn't a definite one yet. But there will be more polishes, don't worry! =P Also, There will be extra entries available for those who want a higher chance of winning too! Keep an eye out for my giveaway!

hope you enjoyed & happy polishing! :)

Ode to Summer

November 12, 2010

Even though I hate the summer heat, I miss summer already. :( Here's an ode to summer with China Glaze Poolside Collection! :) First, since they are neons, you should use a white base underneath before applying anything from this collection to avoid VNL. I used one coat of OPI Alpine Snow. Also, just keep in mind that they are MUCH MUCH MUCH brighter in real life. My camera is horrible at capturing colors sometimes -____-;

left to right:
* Kiwi Cool-ada - bright neon green. 3 coats & 1 coat of TC.
* Flip Flop Fantasy - bright neon coral pink with a little orange. 2 coats & 1 coat of TC. Really hard to capture! :( it's more pink & prettier in real life. My second favorite out of the collection :D!

left to right:
* Sun Worshipper - bright neon yellow-orange. 2 coats & 1 coat of TC.
* Pool Party - bright neon red-pink. 2 coats & 1 coat of TC.

left to right:
* Towel Boy Toy - neon turquoise with blue shimmer. 3 coats & 1 coat of TC. Definitely my favorite out of this collection!!?(:
* Yellow Polka Dot Bikini - bright neon yellow. 2 coats & 1 coat of TC.

hope you enjoyed,
