Though she kept up appearances, despite his constant jibes at her. The actress, who has made several television appearances to promote her film Tees Maar Khan, looked nervous and awkward. Obviously, it was not without reason. Khan, who is known for his whacko and weird sense of humour, drove the actress to the edge. He made digs at her about working with Ranbir Kapoor, her favourite co-star Akshay Kumar and even her ability (or rather inability?) to speak Hindi. Though it was all in good fun, the pressure of being on national TV with her former flame, was just too much for the actress and she just snapped after a point. Says a source, "Before the shoot, things appeared extremely cool. When Farah and Katrina arrived on the sets, Sallu played the perfect host. They even indulged in a game of cricket at his chalet, near the Bigg Boss house. While Farah chose to be a spectator, Kat did a bit of batting while Salman bowled. Everything looked fine but once the cameras rolled, so did the host's witty remarks which were outright sarcastic." Adds the source, "As Farah stepped inside the Bigg Boss house, Kat was left alone on stage for a greater part of the show. At first, she played along but after a point she couldn't take his digs." She broke down and retreated to her make-up room. When she returned, the portions were re-shot. The offending parts were not aired. Farah maintains, "Katrina did not show that she was upset by Salman's comments at least not in front of me. I reached the sets late, so I don't know what happened before." Salman Khan has got the bags under his eyes 'fixed'. And we have the exclusive photographs Over the weekend, Salman Khan sported dark glasses on Bigg Boss throughout the one-hour duration of the show (on Friday and Saturday). There were murmurs about the actor getting surgery to fix the bags under his eyes. We decided to play the wait-and-watch game and see if he'd sport dark sunglasses when he walked the ramp the following day for his Being Human show. It paid off. Sallu came with a chashma on. He'd flown to Dubai last week, where he had the procedure done. A doctor from Singapore flew in especially for the Khan. After the show, our photographer Satyajit Desai (see box) clicked pictures of the actor without his shades. We'll let the pictures talk for themselves. What's that? While some of the actresses like Rani, Sangeeta Bijlani, Priyanka, Bipasha, Katrina came to meet him, I took some pictures but it was when he was getting into his car that he took off his glares and I got these pictures."

Deepika Padukone debuted with SRK starrer ‘Om Shanti Om’ which was in a sort of proxy war with Salman Khan’s ‘Saawariya’ at the time of its release. As such, there was not much interaction between Sallu Bhai and Deepika. However, time and again, it was said that both the actors had expressed their desire to work with each other. Deepika had once said to BT, “Salman is one actor I’m looking forward to doing a film with.”

Now that gossip columns are going red with the rumors of Ranbir Kapoor seeing Salman’s girl Katrina Kaif, Salman seems to be more eager than ever to work with Ranbir’s ex-flame Deepika Padukone. Trade sources say that director Anees Bazmee will cast the two as the leading pair in his next project. Where Deepika said that she is unaware of these reports, sources close to Salman say that this is a definite and immediate possibility because “Bhai wants to do a movie with Deepika.”

Whether the two will get an opportunity to display sparking on-screen chemistry, only time will tell.

Has the curtain come down on the Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan relationship? Yes, it does seem so.

The one-time deep friendship between SRK and Farah has come to an end. Recent developments from Farah’s end only prove that.

That she signed Akshay Kumar for “Tees Mar Khan” is an old piece of news now. And so is the fact that husband Shirish Kunder has taken John Abraham for his next venture “Alien Sahib”.

The most devastating news now is that Farah and Shirish have zeroed in on Salman Khan for another of their directorial ventures.

This piece of news will surely be upsetting for Shah Rukh. The world knows that his biggest enemy in Bollywood is Salman. Following their infamous fight at Katrina’s birthday in 2008 they have avoided all contact and have even sworn never to work with each other again.

By signing Salman, Farah seems to have hit directly at Shah Rukh, her one-time ‘rakhi’ brother and mentor.

While Farah hasn’t spoken about signing Salman, Shirish has confirmed that the deal was sealed with Salman when he went for Sallu’s birthday bash at his Panvel farmhouse on Dec 27.

With arch rivals Akshay and Salman getting a place in Farah Khan’s camp, there’s is definitely no room for Shah Rukh now.

Salman Khan planning to buy two horses

His love for the animal grows after shooting for 'Veer'

Salman Khan grew so fond of a horse, Laxmi, during the shoot of his film "Veer" (pictured left) that he has planned to purchase two for his farmhouse.

"My love for horses has grown so much after shooting for 'Veer' that I have decided to buy two horses for my farmhouse," said Salman.

"One horse that stands out was Laxmi. She was my favourite and I was so attached to her that I must have fed her more biscuits than I have eaten in my entire life!" he added.

"Veer", slated to release Jan 22, is a story of bravery, treachery and love. The story revolves around the 18th century Pindaris who preferred death to dishonour and fought to their last breath to save their land. Salman plays a Pindari soldier in the film.

Salman Khan helped out a Woman in Wheelchair at Mehboob Studios - Photos

Salman Khan's bada dil was on display on the sets of a promotional shoot for Veer. The actor helped out a woman in need and even gave her a listening ear.

Salman sat with a middle-aged woman who insisted on meeting him while he was shooting at Mehboob Studios. He spent time talking to her for over an hour and even gave her Rs 1 lakh when he heard she needed the money.
Reveals a unit member, "Recently, a woman in a wheelchair waited outside Salman's vanity van while he was doing the promotions for Veer at Mehboob studios. She refused to budge till she met Salman. He was taking time as he had just cut his hair and had to wear hair extensions for the promotions. We tried to keep the lady away but the next thing we knew, he came out of his van he went over to her to sit with her. That way, Salman is unpredictable. He kept everything he was doing on hold to spend time with her."

Quiet listener
Initially, the woman just wanted to vent all her personal issues. "She had heard that Salman had a kind heart so she told him how things in her life had gone wrong and why. The actor sat and listened to her grievances quietly without complaint. In between, he'd break it to give her some advice or laugh along at something she said. Everyone was amazed how the usually hot-tempered Salman patiently handled the lady and sorted out her problems.

Producer Vijay Galani says, "I was there when this happened. The lady refused to leave till she met Salman and waited outside his van patiently for hours. She was in a wheelchair and we didn't want to be rude to her. She waited till Salman was done. When he heard what happened he immediately went over to talk to her. He was not just kind but also lent her a patient ear. He also gave her money when he heard she was in dire straits."

Salman Khan exhibited his paintings in Dubai in October this year - very narcissistic that all his paintings are mostly of himself him but not bad for a movie star !!
Bollywood star and heartthrob Salman Khan was in Dubai last week to host the first ever exhibition of his paintings in the Gulf region.
Khan kept it simple but classy in black, and looked as charming as ever.Reports have it he arrived by himself, without any pomp or show, and was the perfect host. He seemed thrilled yet humbled that so many people had showed up to have a look at his creations. Khan even patiently explained all his art work to those who were curious to know what it was about.
He started painting because he felt like he needed an outlet for his emotions and all the things going on in his life.All the proceeds from his paintings are going to go towards his charity, Being Human. One of his paintings went for a huge sum of AED 350, 000. Khan said he was scared no one would show up for his exhibition.

Bollywood Hunk Salman Khan has joined the likes of Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan in starting his blog. Just that, it's an exclusive blog for his film Veer, produced by Eros Entertainment and Vijay Galani. Titled My Dream Project ….VEER, Salman calls the film his most awaited till date. In fact, he had written it long back and wanted to direct it! Excerpts:

Everyone wants to know what is Salman’s dream project? And I am very excited about the release of Veer on 22nd Jan 2010. I have lived with Veer for 20 years and want you guys to live the movie with me through this blog.

Veer can be called my most awaited film till date. I had written the story of my dream project when I was shooting for the film Baaghi in 1990.

As a child, I saw the film Taras Bulba that beautifully showed a father-son sharing an extraordinary relationship. Being inspired from this, I always wanted to write a script revolving around this bond. I had the whole thing 20 years back and wanted to direct a film on this subject… Had dreamt of becoming a director but as fate would have it, ended up becoming an actor....

Veer is the biggest Bollywood film ever to be made and a movie like this is going to be written, directed and produced once in a lifetime…
