Natasha Poly for Vogue Paris February 2011

As a continuation of the last post, I have to post these stunning black and white shots of Natasha Poly for the February 2011 issue of Vogue Paris. She looks absolutely gorgeous in knits and sequins by Gucci, Emilio Pucci, Burberry Prorsum, Salvatore Ferragamo and Michael Kors. Her hair is fantastic - I adore long, tousled hair with a fringe, done bohemian style. I want my hair to grow fast, fast, fast so I can I have exactly this hairstyle for the summer. And I wouldn't mind these designer pieces either, thank you very much.

Love & Peace

Those of you who have followed Style Spot for a while, know how much I love Vogue Paris. I could rant on for hours about how incredible Carine Roitfeld and her creative team are. But I won't do that now. Instead I want to ask you what you think of the magazine's cover for the November issue. Do you love it? Or do you hate it? I really like it. First of all I think Natasha Poly is a great model, and she works the Givenchy SS '11 hair so well. Also, I love the hippie vibe of the cover. I used to want to be a hippie when I was younger, and I still think there's a little flower child inside of me. Thirdly, the make-up is stunning. The blue eyeshadow almost pops off the cover, and is extremely attention-grabbing. Well done, Vogue Paris!

What do you think of the November 2010 cover?
I absolutely love it!
It's okay, but nothing special.
I hate it!

Lanvin Hearts H&M

On Monday, the blogosphere went crazy over the first sneak peak from the collection Lanvin is doing for H&M. I really like the looks that were shown - there's something so classic and elegant about dark, sharp silhouettes. Now a new photo has been released - showing more colour and flowers this time. The dress that Natasha Poly is wearing is gorgeous.

What do think about the Lanvin for H&M collection so far? Will you be queueing in the lines?

Can't wait to see more from this shoot. Darkness and pureness is captured perfectly by the one and only Karl Lagerfeld.

Some photos make my craving for the beautiful and stunning city, Paris, even stronger, and these manage to do just that. I want to go there this instant and roll around on the ground in a blue sequined skirt and my old rollerskates.

J'adore Paris And Eiffel Tower Panties

I am so sorry for my absence these last few days, but I just haven't had a single free moment until now. I've been working a lot this weekend, and on Saturday I went to my friend's going-away party. I had a great time, but note to self: It's not a very good idea to party all night long when you're getting a mean cold. It completely ruined my Sunday, but still, it was worth kind of worth it. I have to head off straight after I've finished this post, so instead of replying to your comments today, I will definitely do it tomorrow.

Anyway, we are now finished with New York Fashion Week, and boy did they serve us some amazing collections! So many designers impressed me, and after seeing the collections I just can't wait for spring 09. Even though I am very excited that London Fashion Week has arrived, I have to admit that it doesn't give me quite the same satisfaction that I know I will receive when Paris Fashion Week starts the 28th of September.

So while I wait with great impatience, I'll post the stunning editorial from Vogue Paris June/July 2008. It features Doutzen Kroes, Lily Donaldsen, Natasha Poly, Sasha Pivovarova and Catherine McNeil, and they all do a fantastic job in this photo shoot. Even though they aren't Parisiennes in real life, they sure do express the chicness and beauty which is connected to the women from Paris. One of my biggest dreams is to one day live in the city of love, and these photos definitely add more fuel to the dream of moving to Paris. Where do you dream of living?
