Nail Art: Pink and Gold Plaid
Hi everyone! Today I am sharing a fun manicure that I did. I was in a nail art mood and I wanted to break out my Art Deco polishes. I did this using Wet 'n Wild Shield, and Art Deco polishes in Baby Pink and Intense Pink. I was surprised at how straight I managed to get the lines to be, as I have pretty shaky hands. I got a lot of comments and compliments about this design when I wore it to class. Do you like it too?

NOTD: Down the Dark Rabbit Hole
Hello everyone! Is anyone else getting as excited as I am to go see Disney's Alice in Wonderland? I decided that I wanted OPI Absolutely Alice to be a little darker, so I layered 2 coats of it over Wet 'n Wild Nocturnal. Sadly it doesn't apply that well until you get it opaque, so there are bald spots, classifying this mani as a fail. Sorry. I love the concept though, and in real life the patches really aren't very noticable. So are any of you going to go see it when it comes out like I am?

Mattified Wet 'n Wild!
Hi everyone! Today I have both of my Wet 'n Wild polishes matted for you! They were matted with Essie's Matte About You Topcoat.
Shield - This one looks fabulous matted, I wish that I had figured this out sooner! Wow, I just really love the depth that the matte gave to this polish!
Nocturnal - This one looks beautiful matte too! It reminds me of the color of a clear night sky.
The glossy picture is below for comparison, do you like how they look matte too, or do you prefer them glossy?

KOTD: Leopard Print + 6 Month Anniversary!
I love how this turned out! I haven't done a traditional leopard print before, but I like this one!
For this mani I applied Wet 'n Wild Shield and matted it with Essie Matte About You Topcoat. I then used Art Deco Black and the konad m57 plate for the leopard print. To finish it off I added dots of OPI You Don't Know Jacques for the brown parts. Do you love how this turned out too?
BTW, today is Naive Nail's 6 month anniversary! Yay! It is hard to believe that I have been doing this blog for half a year, and how much I have learned in that time. I can't believe how welcome I feel in the community; it really feels like a family. Well, a family whose members I have never met in real life yet. (I plan on meeting one in real life pretty soon!)
It is really funny to go look at my oldest posts (feel free to go check some out!). I can see a lot of improvement, especially in my pictures! What would you all think of me going back to revisit my early posts and reswatching and re-reviewing polishes? A lot of them are from well before I became known in the community. My tastes in polish have changed a lot and I have learned a lot more about what makes a good polish. Plus I know that I can take WAY better pictures now! ;)

KOTD: Gold on Gold
Hi everyone! I have been wanting to try a tone-on-tone mani for awhile now, and I have finally done one! I know that it is hard to see; I'm sorry! I had to take it inside as the weather has been very dim and dreary.
I used Wet n' Wild Shield as the base color and China Glaze Twenty-Four K as the stamping color using the m60 plate. It looked really cool in real life but I couldn't get a decent picture.
In more exciting news, I am going home today! Hooray! I can't wait to fly back for a nice long three week break! :)

Wet 'n Wild Craze Nocturnal
Hola everyone! Today's post is a swatch/review of the Wet 'n Wild Craze polish in Nocturnal. Yes, I know that I am way late on the whole bandwagon over this line, but in my defense I did not see these until last month.
This is a strange color; I was expecting a dark violet and I got an almost black blurple. Of course purples are impossible to photograph so it looks pitch black.
I like it, but I am not loving it. The cap make polish application a little tough, but it dried pretty fast and applied well in 2-3 coats. If you have this polish, did you feel similarly about it?

Wet 'n Wild Shield
Hello everyone! Yes, I know that I am late to the whole Wet 'n Wild Craze polish bandwagon, but better late than never right?
I usually hate gold, but this one is warm enough to kind of flatter my skin tone! To me it is a dirty gold, and I love it! It is a bit sheer, needing 3-4 coats to be opaque, but the drying time is really fast. I wore this polish home for my fall break and it went four days without chipping, hooray! This is very cheap at about $2; although it is a little small at .325 ounces. The bottle is just so cute though!

Halloween Nails: Spiders
Aren't they cute? Well, the ones that aren't a mess! This was harder to do than I thought, but I like to post my failures to show how poorly I really do nails lol. I do like the ones on the thumb and index fingers though, they look so evil and cute!
I used Wet 'n Wild Nocturnal for the base color (I know it looks black, but it's like a dark blurple), Art Deco Silver for the webs and spiders, and OPI Big Apple Red for their evil eyes. Not my best work I know; but I liked the idea.

Na Na Na Nail Haul!
Hey everyone! Today I am sharing my nail haul from the past few weeks, and I am on a no-buy until November, at which time I am going to go buy Essie Mint Candy Apple when it comes out!
Now onto the polishes, from left to right they are OPI Lincoln Park After Dark, China Glaze Lubu Heels, China Glaze Metallic Muse (from the new Khrome collection), and the Wet 'n Wild Craze polishes in Shield and Nocturnal. I also bought OPI You Rock-apulco Red while on my Fall Break, so that polish is at home. I am going to be busy swatching, but you won't see swatches until next month (don't worry, it isn't far!) because of a special segment that I will be doing next week. I think y'all will love it!
